This piece carries a message of hope. Created at the beginning of the pandemic and in the mist of the raise in violence in all US cities, it was the artist's wishes for a most just world, as expressed in the poem.

Hope to see an end to injustice.
Hope for change in people’s hearts.
Hope for goodness in their souls.
Hoping for a better world.
Hoping for a peaceful tomorrow.
Hope for everlasting friendships and never-ending adventures.
Hope for happy endings and exciting new beginnings.
Hope for blue skies and white, cottony clouds.
Hope for bluer oceans and greener hills.
Hope for greener rainforests filled with wild animals running freely with no fear of hunters that kill.
Hope for bright sunrises and calming sunsets. For lazy afternoons and dance-filled nights.
Hope that everything, in the end, will be alright.
Hope for human nature to go back to the basics to protect this earth we call our home.
